I love stories with strong female lead. This show exemplifies the positive female strength by showing all of us how to endure ups and drowns of life without compromising ourselves. It’s a true love story without a happily ever after in that it’s so realistic how it portrays the Emperor and his blindness to someone who was true to him because of his own lust, evil use of power, lack of wisdom, stubbornness, false belief, etc. I have seen too many movies making women look badly and I am glad I found this one. The beautiful clothes and decor helped me to appreciate my own culture as well. I am glad though the time of the emperor has passed. One man can not be given so much power like this movie demonstrated.
