I must be one of the few people who didn't love this movie. Ralph Fiennes was excellent, an actor at the peak of his game I would say. The movie was just too slow moving and predictable for me though. There were great moments of intrigue and repression, but in my opinion nothing much happened throughout this long movie. It was however fascinating to see the domestic quarters of those living in St peter's basilica.
