I was really looking forward to this show but three episodes in and I can’t put myself through the torture no more. Willie Garson aka Stanford dies in real life so they have him filing for divorce and globe trotting poor writing not to mention killing Big off that was beyond wrong he was one of the best stars on that show HBO fired Chris Noth after sec allegations came up so instead of seeing if he was guilty or not they pointed their judging fingers at him and fired him without justification. And Kim Cattral aka Samantha she was wonderful on the old series and Sarah Jessica Parker then and now thinks she’s the best actor and it centers around her. Well Sarah and Kim in real life had a falling out which was made worse when Sarah Jessica Parker was harassing her to do this series. And it’s the same ol same ol with aged actors. I was hoping there would be some maturity and let’s face it Carrie will be bed hoping all over the place on this series to. Just bad all the way around.

I really am enjoying Gilded age great actors in it. I’ve seen people comparing it to Downton Abbey that’s unfair two different locations and it’s focusing on America which I love that. I was afraid I’d hate it. It’s worth the effort.
