I was so disappointed by this book. I enjoyed her first book and looked forward to this one. But not even close. It was just too disjointed and boring. How long can you really drag on one or two not difficult questions? Apparently this author felt like she could for the entire book and the ending was predictable from probably the first or second chapter. I only gave it the second star probably because I liked her first book. And the small bits of history scattered throughout.

I very much enjoyed the book. The beginning seemed a little slow to catch but once you figured out the characters and their developing relationships it was an almost (but not quite) can’t put down read. I’m usually good at figuring out the endings or coming close but this one threw me. It does move back and forth in time but it was necessary to figure out why her grandmother sent her to Paris in the first place. I am not into romance books at all and this is not a sappy romance book by any means, but a little spark never hurts!

What a worthless waste of time. Storyline doesn’t follow any particular path. Characters are brought into the book that never go anywhere and are meaningless to the story. Although that’s probably not the right wording because there IS no story. I can’t even imagine how anyone could give it a good rating.
