Well done and thank you both Oprah and Netflix for giving us this superbly acted and directed show, beautifully choreographed, accurately casted, with the most enthralling and rivetting storyline/screenplay/music/costumes….Plus, such meaningfully relevant and important Christian messages….Oh! Everything was faultless!!
A consistently upheld storyline unravelling a beautiful interplay between hypocracy and faith, greed and kindness, lust and charity, forgiveness and love! Absolutely unforgettable show and unmissable!!
A definitely addictive series for all of us binge-watchers!!
And, the unforgettable delivery of the Christian message in so many different ways that would enrapture even the non-believer!!!
However…the unreality of this show which is a bit of a spoiler is the obviously blatant statement about a racial element….really, Oprah! Did ALL the characters (including the figures in the wall paintings) have to be people of colour, whilst the worst, lowliest of the low villians were white?
Was this meant to be disguised racial statement served on a silver platter??
