Looks like the story writer is running out of ideas. Lots of loopholes.
1. Preesha falls from a cliff. But remains unhurt.
2.Rudrash is allowed to go down to rescue Preesha.
3.Police force appears to be totally in efficient allowing Mahima to escape every time.
