This show was an unfitting adaptation of R.L. Stine's series. I get that it's made for other Gen-Z people like myself, but the jokes didn't land right, wasn't satisfying, and landed as corny. It tried too hard to be Wednesday, and instead was a total letdown. You can also tell that there's a push with unnecessarily touches of romance, even though it is supposed to be a horror series. The characters are also somewhat bland. Not to mention corny jokes and humor that just doesn't land, the show overall left me disinterested. It's also not nostalgic or close to the times they tried to portray. I couldn't even bring myself to continue and finish the series.
