Getting rid of Gary Linekar was a big plus and I was looking forward to this season without him but who on earth thought bringing in Wayne Rooney as a pundit would be a winner not only a failed manager so cannot be taken seriously when commentating on other managers gameplay but difficult to understand and doesn’t really seem to have any thoughts of his own almost as he is waiting for someone in the control room to feed him a response through his earpiece. They really should have had a big clear out of all the old pundits including Alan Shearer etc and brought in a complete and fresh set of pundits to revamp the programme completely. Finding it really difficult to sit down and watch MOTD now

Absolutely boring sat there for 1 hour waiting for something to happen and nothing that’s an hour of my life I won’t be getting back
