It's been a long while since a show could keep me engaged as this one did. The performances were so beautiful and I recognised a few professionals in the industry.
Funny, zany and heartfelt. Every character had depth. I appreciate that the storylines weren't all glamour and mean girls like you typically see in many shows and film. But rather were grounded to reality. Season 1 has ended beautifully, tying up many an end in a satisfying way.
It's an absolute shame that this won't be returning for a second season. Apparently due to the cost to viewer ratio. But here's the thing you can't get viewers without adequate advertisement and PR. It honestly was by luck that I found this.
I've seen so many amazing projects die because there wasn't adequate advertisement and PR. This beautiful show now being the newest.
This could have gotten to Mozart in The Jungle levels.
