So far this show is great, it’s doing a lot of setting up right now but the world is absolutely beautiful, the acting is great and it’s gripping. I’m a long time LOTR fan having read all the books and a huge fan of he Peter Jackson films. This show is in comparison in terms of wonderment and has really drawn me in thus far. A few things to clarify: Tolkiens works at no point talk about skin colour and are for everyone to enjoy, it’s is about bringing races together to overcome evil. You cannot fully review a series based upon 3 episodes. People are review booming so do not pay attention and Don’t listen to these racist anti-inclusive 1 star reviews. Amazon don’t own the rights to the silmarillion, they are adapting from the appendices. Therefore all these comment about “not sticking to source material” is bogus as they have done a fantastic job thus far with the sources they have access to.
