Ragnarok might just be the cringiest series ever made.
What started as an interesting idea—a modern take on Norse mythology—turned into one of the most awkward, disappointing, and painfully slow shows I’ve ever watched. The writing is weak, the pacing is all over the place, and the acting ranges from flat to downright unbearable.
Let’s talk about Magne—the guy who’s supposed to be Thor. He is hands-down one of the most annoying lead characters ever. Each episode, he gets worse. He mumbles, stares into space, and reacts like he just woke up confused on a film set. There’s no depth, no power, no presence. Just cringe.
The absolute peak of cringe? That infamous scene where he drinks the “ancient” liquid and looks in the mirror—and suddenly sees himself as Thor. It’s supposed to be a powerful transformation moment, but instead, it’s hilarious in the worst way. The hair, the makeup, the outfit—it looks like a low-budget comic con costume gone wrong. Zero impact, all awkward.
The mythical gods and giants? Completely wasted. Instead of being epic and awe-inspiring, they’re dull, emotionless, and forgettable. The entire mythological aspect is a joke, and not a funny one.
Ragnarok had potential, but it ended up as a cringe-filled, poorly acted mess. Easily one of the worst and most disappointing series I’ve seen in years.
Rating: -100000000/10 — Cringe level: off the charts.
