The factor of this show that made it watchable, was Yoo yeon seok's heartfelt, genuine, realistic portrayal of his character, Sang-su. The sincere portrayal of his pain caused by his unrequited love, and longing to be with Su-Yeon, gave me hope that his love for her would be requited in the end. That veil of hope kept me watching to the end as she sometimes softened towards him, especially at the ending part of episode 10. However, the story is frustrating because of the hard to understand, irrational behaviors, Su-yeon continually engaged in, which denied giving life to a loving relationship between them, withholding the love she felt for the very man who made it absolutely clear, time and again that he loved her. There was no reason to justify her complex behaviors. I found this conduct highly implausible crumbling the foundation of the show. There is no reasonable sound theme here. I did not appreciate the confusion one bit. Further, making this show frustrating and heartbreaking, are Su-yeon's downright, almost cruel choices, seemingly all for the purpose of withholding her love from Sang-su, a man she clearly has feelings for. Her behavior seemed like a punishment (to both him and her, they were miserable without each other), as she continually denied him the expressions of that love he craved from her, simply because he hesitated when running towards her on their first date, making her think that she would not be a suitable partner for him. He tried to correct her thinking many times with words and deeds, to no avail. She made no sense whatsoever. If this vague reasoning and confusing storyline was the purpose of those 16 episodes, they accomplished it!
