Overall a great film but I left feeling underwhelmed. I appreciate you can't fit everything in the film that was in the book BUT my 2 favourite scenes that made me cry in the book were either not in the film or were but the line was rushed and slightly mumbled. It also had other scenes cut and the order of some scenes had been mixed up. It's hard for me to rate it at face value as I'd read the book so I only knocked off 1 star. As a stand alone film without having a book first it was pretty good. I was planning to see it again today if I loved it but unfortunately I won't be heading to the cinema again to watch it.
