I worked in Pittsburgh for many years, and there is a very unique speech pattern of people in this area. This show totally ignores that, and I find that disappointing.
The most of the story lines are compelling, but I find some of the threads eyeball rollingly predictable. Like the intern who has to change scrubs after every patient encounter. It’s just stupid.
Waiting rooms with people sitting practically on top of one another is one more of those over exaggerated and exasperating bits.
I’m on hour 5, and I’m not sure I’ll make it to the end of the season.
