The first 2-3 episodes could turn some off from the show but if you can look past those then there is something special here. I also wasn’t a huge fan of the soundtrack (but I’m not into pop music usually). All that being said, the story kept me very engaged and I ended up watching the whole season 1 in just 2 days.
I’ve found many anime to suffer from a syndrome of taking way too long to build up moments, needlessly wasting time on flashbacks and gotchas.
That is not the case with this series, it went far and it went there quick. I was actually surprised with how it all ended… I am hoping for a season 2.
