I loved the director’s previous movie (Barbarian) because it was so stupid it became campy. This movie follows a similar campy tone while also maintaining a strong sense of eeriness that kept me disturbed the entire movie. Wonderful use of gore, that final kill is probably one of my favorite scenes I’ve ever seen.
