The movie is not as bad as it was made out to be by public reviews. It did have potential and most of the positives are based off of technical wins acquired by the team behind the movie. The music, camera work, locations, lights, basic story, story's focus they are all reminiscent of a well-budgeted movie and it is.
Unfortunately the negative do cast a shadow over the positives and make it an 'Okay' to 'Alright' movie for the general audience. There are some scenes in the movie that make it look like TV commercial. An unfortunate aspect that took place before the movie had completed its filming was the demise of the actor Vivek, because of which the last two stretches of the movie probably was re-written and was also rushed. I watched the entire movie and I do not even know the name of Rahul Dev's character or what his role was in the script.
The protagonist is a bold man of great resolve who though he would be able to pull it off as a successful lead actor, in which he does partially succeed but ultimately fails due to his odd movements, when he runs or walks fast for instance, it is as though is an AI in an android body.
The camera work during action scenes deserve praise because it does look like the protagonist is himself performing the actions.
The story at whole fails because the avid moviegoer can see the movie from a mile away and does have all the general big-budget masala movie checklist points.
It is a one-time watchable movie, if anything you will remember the effort taken by a textile businessman to cut it as a lead actor in the Tamil movie industry.
