I'd be hard pressed to dislike any Harrison Ford movie. I'm also a River Phoenix fan. Helen Mirren's performance is also very good.
Harrison said in a 1992 interview: "It's the only film I have done that hasn't made its money back. I'm still glad I did it."
The story is a little weak for some but I found it very interesting. My takeaway from this film is that despite Ford's character (Allie) trying to get his family away from it all, you can't avoid the arrogance and violence of human beings, even 1,000 miles from civilization.
It's not Indiana Jones but well worth watching.
