Void of a cohesive script, void of any thrills or chills as it's pretty obvious, void of a villain, void of what works in horror and what keeps an audience's attention, void of three stars due all of these issues. 2 stars for making it on a micro budget and luring 1 star in. Do yourself a favor and a-VOID this shlock of a film. Go rewatch John Carpenter's The Thing.

Wow! What a stinker! Bad acting, plot, make-up effects and CGI. It starts well but literally becomes a train wreck of a film. Save yourself 90 minutes and watch THE CURSE instead.

What a disappointment! Nosferatu is just a regurgitation of Dracula and not even close to Francis Ford Coppola's film or the sensual 1979 Dracula starring Frank Langella. I thought that there would be something different and other than changing the character names and the locale of origin, that's about it. On the pro's, the cinematography was quite beautiful especially the shots of Thomas in the forest outside Orlok's castle. The acting was top notch especially for the angst and emotion that was being asked of the cast. The script however was a major let down and I hated the ending. Save your time and money, go rewatch Coppola's Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Fantastic! One of the best movies this year and a treat! From the acting to the script to the cinematography - it just doesn't get better. I don't want to spoil it as the less you know about this mystery-drama the better. Go see it!

So disappointed with this remake. The script was so obvious and had no subtleties whatsoever. Such a huge surprise as the original source material by King is fantastic! This should have been adapted and directed by Mike Flanagan but he already created something that is far superior with MIDNIGHT MASS. I'd recommend watching that instead on Netflix. It's brilliantly done.

One of the best films of 2024! Beautiful and grotesque - it will keep you on the edge of your seat! If you love horror, don't miss THE SUBSTANCE!

Wow! I should have read the reviews before watching this movie. It's a trainwreck. The human drama side was done well but the horror elements were non-sensical and stolen from every "haunted house" and "possession" movies that have ever been made. The supernatural elements came off cheap, silly and not even scary. The basement ending alone made no sense whatsoever. The all-star cast was the best thing about the film and the only reason I'm giving The Deliverance 2 stars. Andra Day was amazing and was given a herculean task to combine all of the dramatic elements thrown at her. Glenn Close was brilliant as always in a role that we've not quite seen from her. (She also has the best line in the movie.) Mo'Nique was picture perfect but underused as a social worker. This is definitely one to skip. There are much better horror films out there.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first season of THE MAGICIANS until the season finale. From there, the series took a huge downturn in character development, storylines and plot. The writing just became so silly that I couldn't even get through the second season. Big disappointment!

What a terribly lazy adaptation of what I guess was a scary Stephen King short story. Unfortunately, the plot and terror were lost in translation as it's a very by-the-book, paint by numbers, we've seen this all before type of movie from the characters to the plot to the monster. Nothing clever, nothing really scary and nothing to recommend here. Save your money and go re-watch THE CONJURING.

I'm giving this two stars for the interesting concept, shots and cinematography. Otherwise, I was so disappointed after reading some recommendations. The pacing was so slow and the script was barely even there in this horror flick. So much potential wasted. Save yourself 97 minutes and watch something else.
