Written in 1972, it provides both a relatively recent opinion, while also giving an insight into the mind of 50 years ago. ‘Watership Down’ is the only book ever to bring me back for a third indulgence, along with being in one of the only books I have ever read in continuum (meaning: I read it without putting it down my third time) Along with being the only book I’ve read a third time, because I felt it worth the recognition, I have decided it is perhaps the best book I have ever read; as of the date of writing this review. If you ever wanted to read the pure harmonious epitome of literature, Richard fully provides you with this opportunity.
