I have been such a massive crown fan but season 5 was such a disappointment. I found the story lines went on far too long, the queen wasnt convincing in her role and overall its not half as good as the other seasons. Diana was played brilliantly but god did it go on and on without it being interesting. The queen mother looked nothing like the real one. It was all a bit boring and i even found myself skipping through parts which was a huge suprise as im an avid fan whos watched the other seasons over and over again. What happened?. Did someone take away the script and replace it? Wheres the passion, the excitement, the arguments, the intensity all gone?? Not a fan. Really upset, the crowns been done so brilliantly before and now this. Be prepared to switch off!!
