With as much detail contained in the text a decent movie should have been easy to make. Watching this is a shame upon the author, similar to the desecration of his grave! Would have been better to make a movie based upon the background then decimate a wonderful book. As a fan of story telling the movie combines to much lavish and action to ever do justice to the commitment of true artistry. The only saving grace to purchasing the hobbit trilogy was i did not pay full price

Half of this trilogy was in the hobbit game on game cube, it would be a surprise if any original thought exsists in Hollywood even the movies with guide lines suck. They even have the gaul to include game of thrones "winter is coming!" Such tragic fall to an amazing work of art.

To enjoy this distraction is a sign of true loss of intelligence, integrity, and another's artistic ability. Accepting this atrocity states that replicants of original art should be worth the same as the original. Those that accept this movie should love phantom menace from star wars and welcome more travesties from Hollywood
