Very disappointing. I have never understood why directors decide that changing history makes for a better film. She was never arrested or imprisoned, never got pregnant with Henry and certainly had nothing to do with his death to name the three most glaring errors. There were quite a few others. If you want to make a film about a well known historical figure, it must bear some resemblance to the truth.

Watched 10 minutes. Gave up as every other word was F*** We are not prudes, but BC was portrayed as an educated man. Would he really be using foul language in front of his young son. It spoilt it for us. Getting quite difficult to watch anything without excessive foul language. Very sad.

Really can't understand how anyone could give this show better than 3 stars. Even if you ignore the refusal to follow Tolkien's story, the poor acting (on the whole), ridiculous dialogue and often embarrassing scenes and somehow still enjoy it, no-one over the age of 10 could give this better than 3 stars, unless you work for Amazon of course. Sorry, but it is a massive disappointment - I was so excited when they announced they were making this show which only increases my disappontment that it turned out so poor. I can only hope that they listen to some of the criticism and do a much better job in the next season.

Watched 2 episodes and couldn't stand to watch more. Yes, the diversity box ticking is ridiculous and it is difficult to 'suspend disbelieve' when tough seasoned soldiers are beaten so easily by physically much inferior antagonists. A good series must have a good script - this was appalling. It must have good acting - with very few exceptions the acting, to be kind, was poor. It must have good casting - truly atrocious here. Onlysolution is to get good script writers, hire good actors and make it believable. If Netflix want to survive, and I think there is a risk they won't, then they must start producing good shows - this most definitely isn't one.
