Worst story structure I've seen in a modern video game period. If I could give 0 stars, I would. While the technical achievements of the game are notable, the potential is wasted by being shackled due to story constraints or in the name of accessibility. The voice acting is awful. Which is surprising because the first game had so much life just between two characters. There is hardly any personality in any characters. Even Ellie is very bland and shows no inflections in her speech patterns. I was playing the other say with a cutscene going on and my wife thought I was watching amateur voice acting videos. It sounds that bad. The visuals may be stunning but the dialogue is flat. However, I will say that the sound editing is top notch. Great sound effects. But that's really it. Theres not even much in terms of music. I do not recommend this game unless you are seeking a visual treat with lots of action with no expectations of a story that makes sense and voice acting that is believable in any way. Bye.
