Not sure what is with Fundango guys. May be they are turning out to be scammers now?
I tried to book a show and when I logged into their mobile app it showed my correct zip code is selected. I did also enable take my current location. As soon as I selected the movie looks like it toggled the zip code to some other states in USA which is 8 hrs away from where I live (which I noticed only after completing my booking). After seat selection and while entering the credit card details the summary page did not give me key details like location of the theater, time of the show but shows only the movie name and date. This critical information was either omitted or not made sufficiently visible, which resulted in my booking being made without the opportunity to validate key details. This lack of transparency is not only a breach of standard e-commerce practices but also creates the perception of intentional deception. When I tried to contact the customer service they refused to take ownership rather they defaulted to the movie theater company and denied to refund me though I tried to request a refund before the show time as per their refund policy. This irresponsible and insensitive behavior makes me think they are up to some big scam. This type of issue occurred to me for the second time. Has anyone faced similar experience?
