The casting for the most part is perfect! This is one of the most colorful movies I've seen in the past couple years. The singing and dancing is a lot better than most musical movies from the past twenty years. If you liked the In The Heights adaptation then you will most likely enjoy this Wicked adaptation. The ending is satisfying enough that you don't need to see the second movie if you don't want to. If you are going because you love the stage musical, I actually think you will like that they split it into two parts. If you are going for the Wizard of Oz in particular then you'll like this movie perfectly fine on it's own. This is a movie that was made for the theater so I wouldn't wait till it is streaming to watch it.
