Sally Wainright is such a gifted storyteller. Having thoroughly enjoyed all her previous dramas I was really looking forward to this one. It was provoking, shocking, funny in turn but with such humanity. Always engrossing. The multiple ways women are reduced and belittled in society even today was brilliantly and profoundly observed. As a survivor of a lot of the portrayed abuse it felt amzing to be seen and not be invisible - just like the women in the drama. Thank you to Sally for writing it (your best yet), and to all involved that brought it to the screen.
