"In order to find the best way out you need to have an eagle vision. But if you are amongst the crowd you tend to lose the direction".
This is the case with this series. It is made haphazardly. The climax is so goofed up that you feel guilty of wasting your time.
All episodes, except the first, lacks suspense engagement, and interest somehow. Seems they just wrapped up the series towards the end for the sake of ending season 1, with the usual suspense for Season 2.
In the end, lot of questions remains unanswered like what happened to Munna, Deshmukh, Mohan Kumar? What happened to the political turmoil around which the story is actually revolving? Who killed Prithvi and what happened to his murderer? His murder case is not even investigated!!!
Secondly, if one of the accused can be arrested after watching the mobile camera footage captured by a guest, then why was the actual shooter not identified with 200 cctv cameras around and not to mention the recording by the guests? Just to create the suspense, maybe they could have shut down the entire power lines so that nobody saw the shooter.
And how can anyone enter with gun tucked in the belt in such a big party with lots of hot shot guests and police security?!? And that too 3 guys with a gun each. What was security doing?
The idol brings destruction and ill fate to whoever possess it, and in this series it is stolen from a tribe by some welfare personnel. But in the end the idol which kept changing hands is not even the original one which was stolen from the tribals, but a replica. And still it bought such destruction. How?
Above all the name of the series is wrong, because half of the team is investigating the murder of a State Home Minister's son to find the actual culprit, but the other half is helping another political party who intend is to overthrow the current Govt. under the garb of this murder by plotting and planting false evidence and killings, and linking it to current CM.
Coming to acting, I seriously wonder why a legend and strong actor, Ashutosh Rana, was not properly utilized? His dialogues and expressions are enough to keep audience glued. But here, he is not even in bits and pieces.
Pratik Gandhi is class apart. And I really liked Shashank Arora's acting. I think these two were the outstanding amongst all. Richa Chaddha's character could have been more strong.
Would be nice to see what does the second season offer.
