Just awful! Cliche after cliche, no suspense, it's a slow and agonising film. I like many others found the original creepy yet memorable, it gave a sense of foreboding with little effort yet it was so different. It may have just been that the novelty has now worn off? Such a shame!

Brilliant film! Well worth a watch

I cannot put this into just one word. Refreshing, exhilarating, authentic, magnificent and so binge worthy. This is the original drama we need in the world. Daisy is fantastic, she can't put a foot wrong on screen atm. Very well written and acted, the characters are really well thought out and the audience can buy into them so easily. We want more of this!!!

Each episode only got worse. Hopes up for nothing. It had potential but then all involved decided 'nope....we want a story that drags on and on for what would feel like an eternity. We want the viewer to zone in and out, lose the entire "plot", we want disjointed and odd storylines that have no meaning whatsoever. we want characters that have no bearing on whatever the hell is going on. Confused and frustration should be left at the end'. The so called twists at the end were not even executed very well. I remember the good old days of 'tales from the crypt', and 'are you afraid of the dark' (the latter being for kids) having the lasting effect required for the viewer. The creepy unease that these anthology series' left with viewer was the reason they did it; I don't know what this anthology series set out to do but it wasn't achieved I'm afraid. Disappointed

10000000000% WOW! Baz Luhrmann is an out of this world genius! I am hooked, I've watched the film so many times and I'm obsessed with Butler, he is remarkable. The music, the storyline, the outfits, the lighting on Butlers face that exposes his true vulnerability is out of this world. Stunning, stunning film. How I will ever enjoy another movie is beyond me, you've hit the jackpot, any other film will just pale in comparison. Baz has a habit of doing that, same with moulin rouge, but this was something else! Butler is the next level. Thank you for bringing this masterpiece into the world, truly outstanding work, the audience can tell how much work has gone into producing it. And Butler again, how he gets the innocent looks down is amazing, and then growing into the more confident Elvis is unbelievable. At the end, I was convinced Butler was Elvis and the real Elvis was an imposter, he does a number on you during the film! Marvellous film that deserves unlimited accolade. Baz keep up the fantastic in work and look forward to your next project

Amazing piece of writing, written to really engage the viewer. I know its non fiction but its really put together really well. At the start its weird how its put together but it really makes sense later on. Cant stop watching it. Best thing ive watched in a long time!

I cant add anymore than what i have read from the 1 stars.... I laughed at their reviews during the film,that is how absolutely mind numbingly boring this film was. I found the plothole questions from the reviewers amazing! Really made me chuckle because they were spot on! Im surprised any film corps took this on! Especially how it has been apparently 'updated' and in doing so it has disrespected the original literature. Leigh Whannell cant be blamed too much, the direction wasn't that bad - it was the meat on the bone that massively fell short. Through fear of negating all of the positive feedback, i cannot, in good conscience, say this is even an adequate watch. It had all the elements to be a great comedy (come on- Tom Davis- just destined to succeed, right?) but it lacked in the execution. The jokes were juvenile and it tried too much to be people just do nothing, which unfortunately suggests Allan Mustafa to be a one trick pony? And trust me i hate saying this! Steves, Grindah and Beats were fantastic characters but they belong to people just do nothing. (Side note: the chabuddy G character- was also genius!!) With the utmost respect, youre so much better than this guys! I was sorely disappointed on two fronts, the expectations for the comedy and in terms of the faith i have in them reaching success in the future Hopefully you can turn it around and make another fantastic piece together

Love love love this show!!! It's the best show thats been on in YEARS! the acting is spot on and it deals with really relevant stuff. It will be a sad day when Kenya Barris decides hes finished the show....ps please don't Kenya 😁 youve got a gem here
