If you grew up with the classic films, this one delivers. Where the first film left kaiju lovers wanting more, this next installment makes up for it in the amount of action-packed scenes with the monsters center-stage. True to much of the lore surrounding the Godzilla-verse, along with new and exciting additions, a careful viewer will catch multiple easter eggs throughout the film; they did their homework. Not only does this film lay the groundwork for the next 2020 film, but they also provide hints to more adaptations in the future, with the possibility of other famous titans joining the fray. Also, be sure to stick around throughout and after the credits for several revealing scenes.
