Dr. Strange 2 was just lacking. From barely introducing characters, that were twisted in other universes. Meaning that characters that were males in one realm were females in another world. Most characters seemed outrageously weaker in other worlds to the supremely powered Scarlett Witch in a similar fashion to the Dark Phoenix's power in the X-Men world of other movies. Mordo and the Illuminati were touched upon, but barely used except to trade barbs regarding the feelings of angst over Strange's strained relationships in alternate universes. I'm really trying to find the good in this movie, because there wasn't alot in my mind. Who cares if Scarlett Witch was still in her child-wanting post Wanda world version that was a mental case trapped by the Dark Hold? Because she was still over powered, the whole movie suffered. And because Strange spent most of the movie trying to get her to understand that Wanda was good, and conjured up these kids that were NEVER real, but the Scarlett Witch was her 'bad version that was over powerful and wanted the ability to jump into different universes to have those same kids full time and usurp tgat universe's Wanda version as their mommy is just ridiculous. Cameos from Reed Richard's, Professor X, and others were really wasted as teased throw- ins that were NO match for the evil Scarlett Witch at all. The original Dr. Strange was one of my favorite movies because of the shape shifting culture caused by the use of prisms, whereas this film was easily one of the worst, because it just left me wanting the movie to end, because this was just not it at all. I'll see it again, like Eternal, and hopefully I will have a better feeling.
