It’s poor. Turned off after 10 mins. A bad actress taking notes on zombies, gets cut, they chase her, and a massive caterpillar bursts out of the ground. Turned off! This is not Resident Evil. Just like Rings of Power isn’t Lord of the Rings.

Beautiful cinematography, epic soundtrack, and a very different portrayal of Batman, which I personally liked. A moody, struggling, unfinished article who’s still learning to be Batman. The tone oozes film noir and is a slow grind of a detective thriller in places, which may not be for everyone. It was a nice change for me, however… The cast is brilliant, especially Colin Farrell as Penguin, who was the standout for me. The moment that Batman turns up for the first time, it’s just so dark, raw and satisfying. His onscreen presence is on point. The car chase is the best action sequence I’ve seen for ages. It’s easily the best part of the film. Goosebumps when the Batmobile is introduced for the first time. Just what was needed so that everyone can forget about that pathetic Ben Affleck/Snyder joke monstrosity.

Worst film I’ve seen for a while. Cheesy. Lazy writing... Worst yet, every time a horribly inappropriate, girly pop song came on during the film I cringed so hard. The music was a joke. Writers and director should be disappointed in themselves.
