#CatsTheMovie has a drawing problem, it is something wrong with the CGI. Imagine a snapchat filter gone wrong. Where a human face attaches and detaches awkwardly to a cat humanoid torso. That’s the root of the issue. Specially in the Victoria character. If you are good at spotting photoshopped fails you’ll know what I mean. When a human face is so subtly distorted it causes a disturbance of the mind, the brain keeps trying to fix it. I honestly thing this is the source of the vicious vitriol of the critics. But I went to a regular screening, full house, and people had a blast and clapped at the end. It works best if you know the musical and understand what are you getting into beforehand.
