Have probably listened a dozen + times. Not only might it be the best vampire weekend record. It might just be a contender for my favorite album of all time. I’m sure that sounds dramatic; I’m traditionally not the type to let recency bias cloud my judgement but it’s been about 15 years since I’ve felt this way about an album after a thorough first impression. As if it was tailored specifically to my exact taste at this point in time, I hope it’s as inspiring to others as it is to me!
