You'll hear about what a great metaphorical movie this was but honestly these metaphorical horror movies, are rarely any good! It's a play on depression and how it can consume you but it's boring,long,and very confusing. I wish they'd stop trying to use horror as a means to express depression,drugs,anxiety, etc! Just leave your metaphors out of our horror genre! Complete waste of time and midway through. I was counting down the minutes until it would be over! Pass please!

This movie started out interesting but after Mr.Bennet begins his time in the basement.Things just get sidetracked from there. There are so many confusing things going on, and the movie is all over the place, with absolutely no coherent plot! The acting is great but this movie is a complete dud! Not horror,not thriller, not sure what category this goes in outside of simply avoiding it!

After the first 2 films which I thought were brilliant. I was legitimately excited about the 3rd film. After viewing it, I'm still trying to figure out what I just watched lol This movie started good even though the post apocalyptic world survival horror themes are getting a little fatiguing. In spite of that the first act was good but the 2nd and 3rd acts were boring,unnecessary,and completely irrelevant! How this movie ties in to the other 2 is a mystery to me. It's like a completely different universe and it's not in a good way at all! None of the characters are remotely interesting so there's also no skin in the game for me. Why this movie was even necessary is also a mystery to me. It only manages to take down the previous 2 movies and has severely damaged this franchise which I really enjoyed. The ending was also very bizarre. Two big thumbs down on this one! I'm not even sure where the franchise goes from here or whether I'd be interested in following it at all!

This movie seemed interesting in thy beginning but unlike fine wine,it ages very poorly! I guess it's supposed to be a suspense/horror movie but fails miserably at both! Bad and nonsensical plot,absence of scares, and poor acting all mixed in one! If you think finding a bird in a bag with it's head cut off or a dead fox on your property is the stuff of nightmares, then this will be right up your alley! I suggest a hard pass! If I could give half a star,I would have!

Contracted,is an interesting experience and has an interesting, and creative premise on an old genre. *Spoilers ahead* Apart from the fact that there are really no likeable characters. Our main character contracts a bizarre disease from a one night stand with a stranger that we eventually find out is a zombie 🧟‍♀️ virus. Now how he's able to turn people into zombies without showing any symptoms himself is the question 🤔 That question is never even close to examined or revealed and the guy's identity is completely hidden, literally 😆 His face is always blurred the few times he's shown on screen for whatever the reason. Then as our main character begins to show signs of her infection, the reactions by the outside world and her close friends and love interests are laughable! Red eyes,rotten teeth, and a pasty vampire complexion are basically treated like a common cold 😆 Even her love interests remain hot for her until in one instance, she vomits blood on her admirer while in a deep kiss 😆 That was the thing that finally grossed her out 😆 Same with the guy that liked her,it took seeing maggots falling from her genitals to make him realize something is really wrong here 😆 She also kills a few of them along the way, probably from her becoming more unhinged from the virus. By the very end,she's become a full Zombie and attacks her mom.... the end,literally! Plenty of missed opportunities here.This movie started out well but got worse as it went along,before ending with far too many remaining questions.Definitely an interesting take on the zombie genre for sure, and while this is watchable. I'm not sure if it's exactly recommendable!

High on gore and very low on everything else is the best way I can describe this movie lol The story is just fodder for the extremely gross,over the top,and mostly poor special effects! A hard pass on this one unless you have a strong stomach and are a fan of what a pubescent mind might think is good gore!

This was a fun ride, full of that great 80's nostalgia and vibe! Throw in some of Freddy Krueger's wit, to add to the mix! Definitely worth seeing if you've never seen it before and like throwbacks to a great era,it's worth the watch!

This movie was a major disappointment for me after the iconic first TMNT movie. The studio and creators buckled from a few parents complaints about the dark tone and fighting in the 1st movie! So they made a so called "kid friendly" turtle movie for the sequel 😆 In actuality you get a lame,dumb downed film, that failed to deliver on any of the achievements of the 1st movie! To top it off the 2 main antagonists from the cartoons were left out by the creators who didn't like their dialogue lol How about giving them better dialogue maybe 🤔 Nope,instead they create 2 of the worst and silliest villains of any comic book movie! Just a total miss and really sums up everything that went wrong with this new direction they opted to take! The only memorable part of this movie to me was the Vanilla Ice Ninja Turtle rap towards the end of the movie 😆 All the fighting or lack there of was forgettable just like the movie itself! They would go on to make a 3rd and final movie to this series which stayed with the same silly watered-down tone of part 2 and didn't fare as well, thus ending the Turtles 90's cinema run! They could have had a dynasty in my opinion had they stuck to and built off the formula they had in TMNT 1,which was and still is the high water mark for the TMNT cinematic universe!

The way the movie started.I actually had some hope and legitimate intrigue about it. Unfortunately,after about the first half hour,it's really all downhill from there! There's no action to speak of, and all the build-up ends with a completely lackluster ending! One of those endings where you'll have to look it up online to really understand smh.Yup,one of those! Spare yourself if you're a true horror fan! The only real monster in this movie,is the movie itself!

I thought this movie had a lot of potential in the beginning,but it's problem is it's not very coherent. It tells you what's happening,and what needs to be done, but never the reason why! Which is a common, and frustrating theme throughout this film.It has a few tense moments,and good makeup effects,but never any real scares.I guess that should be expected when your villain is a beautiful goddess lol. It would have been nice for her to have had a demonic form,since she's supposed to be this malevolent entity. That would of made it easier to take her more seriously as a dire,existential,threat to this village. The ending is also lackluster,and you don't feel like any of the questions you may have had remaining are ever answered. Whenever you think it's going to live up to some of the tension it's built up, it always pops the air right out of the baloon. Thus, the 2 star rating. Hope this is helpful!
