I know a young transgender man who has transitioned socially and somewhat pyshcaily. Before he transitioned he tried to commit suicide twice. Since he transitioned he is a lot better now and I can’t say the same for everyone but,This book is creepy and wrong. Being transgender is not a craze. They were born and perceived as a different gender then they are and even if they knew at an early age or not. We should not judge them for it. We should support them because god knows how those kids feel being told who they are is an “ideology or a craze”. If you really want to help raise your transgender son this book is not the way. I would recommend a therapist who specializes in helping trans people or if they are too young to start physically transitioning call them by their chosen name and their pronouns and let them lives as theirselves.
