As a fan of the games, it’s so nice to be able learn more of the back story. As a small tip to those who have never read the books or played the games, the story is told in a nonlinear fashion the first season so it takes patience to be able to figure out what’s going on, and who’s in which timeline. By the last episode of the season however, I think everything’s brought back together in a very coherent way that ties back each element of the story. Cavill’s portrayal of the Witcher is nothing less than magnificent. He really nailed it with the voice and demeanor. It’s rare to see a video game character you love brought to life in exactly the way you envisioned. This is quite a treat indeed. Cannot wait for season 2 to come out!
