I guess if you've never seen the original, it might be considered a decent horror film. But, I did in fact see the original...and this was laughable. Pitiful. Poor acting. Poor cast. NOTHING was remotely similar to the original. They had a legitimate true story to go by, and STILL ruined it.

I'm not sure who cast the girl who played "Alex" but that was seriously some of the WORST acting I have ever witnessed. I kept thinking...is she even real? Too mechanical. Too little personality. Idk. Her role was very unrelatable, and I survived a lot of the same situations she did in the movie, but still couldn't relate to the way she handled ANY of it.
