Not too shabby a film. Possible contender for some of the big awards but lacks something. The actor who played the protagonist as a kid wasn't too bad. Worth spending money to see in a cinema.

Pointless futuristic narrative. Well-written. Will appeal to sci-fi junkies and alt world cringeworthies who rate all stories of interaction of human lifeform with never-possible-to-meet lifeforms as amazing. They will rave about it. About as thrilling as as plucking eyebrows with a tweezer.
