The acting is okay, a few Looney Tunes character moments are okay, but the end really dragged for me and for my daughter. As a person who grew up watching Looney Tunes and is a Cavs fan, I should have been the target audience for this movie, but it was a big miss for me.
And if you argue this movie is for kids, I think it's a miss for them as well because most of them don't know who any of the Looney Tunes characters are, and they don't recognize the numerous Warner Bros. references you're beaten over the head with - Matrix, Game of Thrones, and worst of all, Pennywise the Clown from It? What were they thinking? I am a huge fan of those movies, and the references weren't even enjoyable for me.
The granny drinking a martini during halftime, sports vs. video games motif and typical Looney Tunes violence also make this a miss for the wholesome cartoon-loving crowd. So who is this movie for? Unfortunately, I think the makers of this movie couldn't see past the Lebron James-fostered dollar signs in their eyes to take the time to ask that question.
