Personally the movie wasnt terrible, but in my opinion, I believe if you’re going to use the game name as the movie title plus add some TINY things that were in the game into the movie, it should’ve been about the game, not something else. At the end, you see ‘Josh Washington’ plus a photo of him from the game which was good, BUT the movie would’ve been even better if it was ACTUALLY about the game itself without tiny little add ins. I’m a big ‘Until Dawn’ lover so when I saw the movie was actually not like the game, I was upset because I don’t watch trailers all because I want to be surprised. Was the idea bad? No. Were the characters bad? No. Could they have been smarter and actually stuck with the game? YES.
