Took my 4 year old daughter...worried in the beginning whether she would understand as it was information heavy in the beginning to set up the story. My fears were quickly abated when they came back to Raya 6 years later and she piped up, “Mommy she’s going to find the last dragon since her family turned to stone!” It was an emotional roller coaster in the best way possible. It was suitable for kids all the way to adults. Disney hit a homerun getting to the core of the human struggle. My poor kid asked, can we go home and watch it again, since she’s so used to seeing movies on the TV now. I told her we’d wait and see it in the movies again or later on Disney+. It’s cheaper to go to the movies then to spend the $30+ out Disney premium price. Great movie great to see in theaters , we’ll probably go see it again before it’s out on Disney+.
