This was the biggest disappointment as far as film adaptations go. For anyone who even bothers to give this movie more than a 2 star review, it must only be because they never read the book or are just far left wing liberals who insist on turning everything into some sort of movement agenda.
The only thing the film actually got right was that it was set in Egypt.
Poirot looks nothing like how he should and the story about the origins of his mustache is ludicrus and making him shave it off in the end was like spitting on Aagata Christies face.
Adding new casts of black actors is not an issue...but it is when you change the entire story and characters to try to push some obvious BLM propaganda, not to mention the b.s LBTQ addition that just RUINS a whole collection of narratives in the story.
Characters erased, changed, practically perversed into something that has nothing to do with the original story to push modern nonsense.
And I don't care if it's fiction. It's a classic not to be f***ed with. Other stories haven't been. Would they change the whole plot line of the Lord of the Rings and change characters to be able to bring in some sort of conversation on blm?
This was the worst piece of trash and anyone who rates it well has no taste or respect for the writer who had REAL talent and worked hard on her genius plots and characters
