If you were hoping for a more gritty serious Rogue one like show with their awesome portrayal of Darth Vader then you will be sorely disappointed. This show isn’t one star but it isn’t 5 stars either. There are glaring editing issues in all 4 episodes, Swag CGI, questionable character motivations and a plot that tbh feels weak. Now there are some good points but my goodness do they not screen test this to audiences beforehand cause in my watch through I had to pause the TV and ask my bro did that really happen. Leia’s running away scenes, Darth Vader letting Obi wan go and the Tala slap are just some of nonsensical scenes out of many more. Reva will have a plot reveal in the next or final episode which by that time no one cares. Hard accept a character where no motivation is given for their extreme behaviour. Obi-wan is a shell of his former self which is fine I guess but put something epic in for his character, the damn show is named after him after all ! Finally can Disney learn how to write good female characters, Leia is no 10 year old. Make her sassy and smart yes but she hasn’t complained about missing her parents, force resistant , good at everything… you know she’s basically Rey 2.0 Anyways fingers crossed that last the two episodes can swing this around.
