Since I've been waiting, like all of you, a LONG time for this, I felt I need to make a review. Minor spoiler territory, apologies in advance The movie, loosely adapted the "Flashpoint " storyline... One of my absolute favourites. That's a plus right there. Some absolutely cracking cameos, and a fun filled good laugh of an adventure all the way through. On the cameos ? Well, seeing that infamous would be version of superman finally on screen ( looking at you Cage ) was good fun, the ending cameo also, what a twist. But one cameo got me right in the feels, and I think y'all will know which one. The man, the myth, the legend. So.... without going into too much more detail , besides this part MAJOR SPOILER !!! The reverse flash NOT being the villain, absolutely killed part of the film for me....until the reveal on the Black Flash actually is, then I was in awe. Executed that one well My biggest downside ?? The special effects used to make everything about the flash, is perfect... As in just his character....the lightning, the suit, the action sequences...phenomenal, and for the most part, the effects and CGI was amazing. Well .... All except for the "baby shower" ( god awful fake babies ) ... And those scenes in the speed force.... All those years and it's like you cut 80 percent of the effects budget. On a personal note ?? Seeing Batman and The Flash on the streets of my hometown of Glasgow Scotland, being turned into Gotham again ( see The Batman )... Was just blinding. Go see it, get it on digital release... No matter what, you will enjoy the story
