I'm still watching this series and I'm glued to my seat waiting for the outcome. The story is implausible... As the laws of the universe are. The actors, all very realistic bring or rather weave their personalities into this storyline in such a authentic way, you can't help but be pulled in, believing this is who they really are. For example, Dream is not a being anyone of us would have imagined to be so sad, tragic, alone even when he is with others. He is stoic throughout the show but somehow, you absolutely feel his heartbreaking. Tom Sturridge does a wonderful interpretation of who and what Sandman is. His brooding ways are not boring, but finding solutions to his never ending problems of the process in the world of gods, mythology, religion and even physical science. This is the first time I felt empathy towards Satan, played by Gwendoline Christie. Her monologue was so entrancing and utterly heartbreaking. I thought she should win an Emmy for that performance. All the other characters were wonderful too. OK, this show does have a lot of gory and bloody scenes at times, it's prolonged. So, cover your eyes or walk into another room if it bothers you. This series is not for everyone. If you are not into the fantastical, if you can't run your imagination, this is not for you. This show forces you to leave everything you have ever learned about behind and just have the story lead you down to that path of dreams... And nightmares. Happy watching! 😊
