I was somewhat unsure/sceptical of the show, but I started watching it and became hooked from the very first episode! I love it! It's funny and heartwarming. There's an intricacy to it. I love the exploration of various relationships and types of relationships. The best part of the show, for me, are the characters - their personalities, strengths, conviction, and development. The writing, acting, and directing is so well done! Eva Longoria is brilliant! And Santiago Cabrera is so authentic and such a heartthrob!

It's really not great. The story lines of the murder mysteries are interesting. Really great ideas. But the 'investigating' unfolds vert superficially... feels like they make leaps to solve the crimes. The writing makes it too easy and unexciting. The titular character is not interesting or pleasant to watch.

One of the most powerful, brilliant, and beautifully told stories. Visually captivating. Brought to life by actors with a sincere, deep connection to the material.
