Not sure why there are so many good reviews for this series. Maybe the reviewers are all from the production crew and are grateful that the writer produced such a drawn out storyline and kept them employed. I’m not hooked on Billy’s acting ability and the script certainly doesn’t paint him as being endowed with too many brains. For example when being pursued by his enemies he chose to hold out with his gang in a wooden structure. Of course the obvious strategy for his pursuers was to burn him and his mates out with devastating consequences. However I keep watching it in the hope it will get better, but alas, I feel disappointed after every episode
