I enjoyed this one; especially considering the current entertainment atmosphere. I do think they could’ve used the “happy” times more skillfully storytelling-wise; dropping hints might’ve helped speed up the pacing. Overall, I enjoyed it

Some of the songs didn’t seem to fit into the movie; as if they had the song and needed a way to show-horn it into the movie. For instance, the 1st song sung by the main character and the King sounds like a love duet but is portrayed as a song about love in general. To me, the build-up and climax are so gradual that the movie was over before it felt done
