Was so hopeful that this movie would bring excitement and intense moments. The most excitement I received was seeing Jake’s ripped body and Connor’s cute butt. This movie had potential but just fell flat for me. I watched with my son and encouraged him to watch the original which I didn’t love but I did love Swayze. Conner should have been more menacing-couldn’t take him seriously with his idiotic lines and inability to drive. Jake, though a beautiful specimen, couldn’t carry this movie because the lack of chemistry between all of the actors was just painful to watch. Even the bad guys were ridiculous. Feel a little bad about being so harsh but I would not watch it again. 2 stars. 1 for Jake’s commitment to being the character and creating that damn fine body, and 1 for Connor’s adorable butt. The end.
